NTE’s head office, located in the suburb of Redlands, Pietermaritzburg, serves as the central hub for our operations. The office combines modern amenities with a touch of historical charm, reflecting the company’s blend of innovation and tradition.
NTE manages over 68,000 hectares of black wattle plantations in South Africa, focusing on maintaining a balance between the priorities of business, local communities and the ecosystems on the land in which we operate. Our focus ensures careful land and resource management, with FSC and ISO certification.
We undertake environmental impact assessments to minimise our impact and support the conservation of locally endangered species like the wattled crane. We support and educate our 700+ growers to foster a harmonious relationship between our forestry practices and the environment.
